Saz'hrah will start production of her new dvd Rromani Gothic Fusion.

This dvd will concentrate on traditional eastern Rromany (bohemian, roumanian and transylvanian respectively) Dance combined with modern bellydance and the goth aesthetic while concentrating on Rromany folktales, fairytales and stories.

This dvd will be designed for dancers with some foundation in bellydance that wish to explore a darker more thematic approach to performing while holding onto tradition.

I will focus on 4 specific folk/fairytales (these tales I have chosen are dark and macabre in nature) and demonstrate classic Rromany movments combine that with a more modern take on bellydance to combine a Rromany/Gothic fusion combination. Then you will be able to see me demonstrate the combinations and ideas we just went through in a full costumed theatrical performance concentrating on the story that was told.

This dvd will be visually impacting and informational not only to the dancer but to anyone interested in old fashioned story telling.

I hope in this dvd to show dancers how to listen and feel stories along with the movements they practice so hard to perfect as well as dispell some myths about my people and our stories.

This will feature the music of Sullen Serenade and Zel Hayal

These dvds are designed to assist dancers in their everyday drilling. You will be able to custom tailor your dvd to 3 specific movements that you feel you need to drill. Pop in the dvd and drill these movements along with me. We will go over proper posture, breakdown, and repitition.
